About the role ✨

<aside> ✨ At Billy, Software Engineers have a lot of ownership: they build features and make critical product decisions. We’re looking for a software developper with a strong backend expertise to build the foundation of Billy’s event-commerce platform. You will be a core member of the tech team and use your past experience to drive Billy through it’s next growth phase.

As we’re an early stage startup, you will also have the opportunity to have an impact, inspire the team to be bold with their ideas. You will contribute to our culture and take part in non-tech subjects (process, operations, product, growth, etc).

🧑🏼‍🏭 Your mission

Create THE best event-commerce platform and take part in the company's strategic decisions concerning product and tech:

• Work closely with founders, early customers and the tech team to ensure we build the best products
• Contribute to Billy’s tech strategy to support the product vision
• Build a highly scalable and very resilient system to handle big events’ traffic
• Support the growth and performance of the tech team through coaching, mentorship and training in your areas of expertise
• Push craftsmanship practices and maintain high code quality standards
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration among engineers and designers
• Challenge and co-construct the product by participating in the roadmap prioritization
• Participate in the talent hunt to hire great people
• Work effectively with our freelancers, incubators and partners
